Since launching our own wedding collection, weddings have been on my mind. (And like we said, it is wedding season.) With that spirit in mind, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate some incredible gifts made right here in fine ol’ state of Minnesota that any couple would be lucky to receive. Whether you have a sports loving couple, a couple who is always telling you about an amazing art exhibit you just need to check out, or maybe, just maybe you’re the groom or bride who’s thinking about what to get your partner as a wedding day gift, don’t worry, I’ve got you covered (you can thank me later).

Custom wedding rings: OK, I’m going right for the good stuff here. But these rings made by Britta Kaupilla are just the swooniest things ever. Beautifully raw, organic, simple in the best way, and made with love, these rings can only promise good things ahead.

Berry bowl: I am a cherry girl. I will grin and gladly bear any stomachache that comes after eating a pound of cherries just because they were all so darn delicious. And I’ll do it all again the next day. But whether this couple loves cherries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, or any other kind of berry (edelberries! gooseberries! huckleberries!), they’ll be able to enjoy those berries in style with this darling bowl from Fringe & Fettle. (And there will be no judgement if you end up getting one of these for yourself, too.)

Customized coasters: You may disagree, but I think coasters are one of the most quietly useful gifts you can give someone. And these ones made by the incredible team at Woodchuck are some of the best out there. Made of 100% sustainably sourced wood, these beauties are the perfect mix of form and function. Throw in a personalized touch (you can even have an image inscribed!) and call it a wedding day winner.

Personalized Viking stadium brick: I can’t think of a better gift for all those Vikings fans out there. Help your couple be a part of history with a personalized, legacy brick that will be built into the new stadium. Inscribe the couples’ names and their wedding date, and then enjoy being a hero for the rest of your life.

Serving board: While we’re on the engraved train, we can’t resist throwing this serving board into the mix. Equal parts useful and subtly graceful, this serving board is a staple in anyone’s kitchen. This “better together” serving board is an everyday celebration of two people who truly are better together.

Warm, woolen throw: Made by the fabulous Faribault Mill, these throws are perfect for cuddling together on the couch, stargazing, or throwing onto your bed for a cold, Minnesota winter night. Personally, I’m a big fine of this throw and this one, (can you blame me?), but any throw you pick will be appreciated for years and years to come.

Passport wallets: Crafted in St. Paul by the incomparable Leather Works, these wallets are made for passports, travel notes, and all the adventures to come. If you’ve been trying to come up with the perfect gift for that couple who’s been planning their dream honeymoon since the day they got engaged, well, you’ve found it.

Ring boxes: You’ve got some precious jewels to keep track of – do it in style!

Adventure for two in the North Woods: Give them something to look forward to once their special day is over. (Post-wedding blues are a real thing!) I can’t think of a more special way to express your love for a couple than by giving them a relaxing and special weekend escape.

Walker Art Center membership: The couple that goes to museums together, stays together. OK, I may have made that up, but having access to one of the best date places in the cities goes a long way to keeping the romance alive. (And you’re also supporting the arts – double win!)

So there you have it! A round-up of ten of the best local wedding gifts in Minnesota, in my humble opinion. What did we miss? Let us know in the comments below!
